Our Story

In January 1988, armed with just two credit cards and a prayer, Edward Holloway Cabral embarked on a mission to create Holloway Productions. Leaving behind a high-paying job with union benefits, Edward pursued a dream that many thought was impractical. He envisioned a rehearsal studio that musicians could rely on—one that offered affordability and quality without the seedy environment that characterized most available spaces at the time.

The Beginning

With a single rehearsal room starting at just $8.00 an hour, Holloway Productions was born. As a musician himself, Edward understood the frustration of practicing in overpriced, poorly maintained studios. His personal experiences fueled his determination to create a space where artists could practice in comfort and focus on their craft.

A Labor of Love

Edward’s journey wasn’t easy. Starting a business has its ups and downs, but his love for music and the support of his family kept him going. Edward’s father once told him, "Whatever you do in life, do something you love." This advice became the cornerstone of Holloway Productions.

Growing and Thriving

Over the years, Holloway Productions has grown into a multi-faceted production house, offering top-notch services in music rehearsal, recording, audio for film, and videography. Despite the challenges, Edward never regretted a single day of his journey, as he was doing something he loved deeply.
